Guidelines for Technology Donations
Due to the immense amount of time and software required to make systems operational and highly available for students/staff, Osborn has standardized equipment across the district. For this reason, we do not accept donated computer systems of just any kind. We do, however, welcome donations of usable computer peripherals. Since equipment donations are often used casually, it is essential that all equipment be in working order so that time does not need to be spent repairing the equipment.
All hardware components must be functional and have necessary software/licenses.
Current Technology Needs

Donation Process:
Please contact your child's school about your potential donation in order to ensure that your equipment will be usable. The school will consult with the Technology Department to confirm compliance with our specifications and current needs. Once confirmation is received, the school will provide you with the proper form to be completed prior to donation. Upon receipt of the completed donation form, the potential donation information will be submitted for approval to the Technology Department and the Governing Board. If it is approved, you will be contacted and the equipment can be brought to Osborn District Office for donation.
Thank you very much for your generosity!
