Dr. Michael Robert

Dr. Michael Robert is proud to begin his eighth year as Superintendent of the Osborn School District. Prior to being named Superintendent, Dr. Robert was Principal of Encanto School in Osborn for 10 years as it became an ‘A’ rated school and honored as an A+ School of Excellence™ by the Arizona Educational Foundation.
Dr. Robert was a teacher in public Montessori, bilingual, dual language, and early childhood settings in California, Arizona, and in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands for 12 years before becoming an Assistant Principal, Principal, and ultimately Superintendent. This is his 30th year in elementary education.
Dr. Robert earned a Bachelors degree in Communication from the University of California San Diego, Masters degrees in Multicultural Education from California State University Dominguez Hills and Montessori Elementary Education from Loyola College in Maryland, and his Doctorate in Educational Administration and Supervision from Arizona State University.
Dr. Robert is a former coach and board member of Clarendon Little League, served on the Phoenix Police Department Use of Force and Discipline Review Boards, and is a member of REAP, a philanthropic giving circle with a mission of providing Black men with a mechanism for community investment through strategic philanthropy. Dr. Robert is a graduate of Class 40 of Valley Leadership, a graduate of the AASA National Superintendent’s Certification Program, and a 2022 Fulbright Leaders for Global Schools scholar through the Fulbright Finland Foundation.
Dr. Robert and his wife, Siman Qaasim, live in north central Phoenix. Their 4 children—Lionel, Quincy, Safiya, and Raymond—have all attended Osborn schools and are all current college students.
Chief Operations Officer
Colleen McCabe

Colleen McCabe, the current Chief Operations Officer, has served in Osborn since 2016. She was initially hired as our Director of Finance. Within her current role she supervises the operations of Maintenance, Transportation, Child Nutrition, Human Resources, Information Technology, as well as Business Services. Due to her demonstrated servant leadership as well as her oversight of Osborn's $50 million-dollar bond projects, Colleen was named a 2019-2020 Osborn You Make a Difference recipient.
Colleen is a graduate of Prescott College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in School Business Management with an Emphasis in Accounting and School Leadership. Prior to serving in Osborn, Colleen worked in K-8 and K-12 districts in Yavapai and Coconino counties for 12 years. During that time, she served in a variety of district level positions, where she applied her schooling and gained her knowledge of accounting compliance, district operations and federal programs.
Chief Officer of Learning and Equity
Abby Potter-Davis

As Chief Officer of Learning and Equity, Mrs. Potter-Davis is responsible for providing leadership, vision and evaluation of Osborn’s curriculum and instructional services, and federal programs to attain the highest levels of student achievement, instructional excellence, and equity for all students. She oversees the long range planning and implementation of teaching and learning to ensure that the district’s objectives are aligned to Arizona state standards.
Mrs. Potter-Davis earned two Master’s degrees in Curriculum & Instruction and Educational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Since starting her career as a bilingual classroom teacher in 2000, she has served in the capacity of Director of Curriculum, EL Coordinator, and Principal.
